Job Description

Job Description :

Shape how sophisticated clients launch and scale critical payment capabilities. You will own high-impact onboarding and service-readiness work that helps clients transact smoothly from day one. Working across partners in product, operations, and technology, you'll turn complex requirements into clear plans and reliable outcomes. You'll grow your influence through ownership of challenging engagements and visible client results. If you enjoy problem-solving, partnership, and precision, we'd like to meet you.

As an Associate in the APAC Global Client Service+ team, you own multiple complex onboarding and service-readiness engagements, helping clients achieve transaction readiness through go-live and stabilization. You work directly with clients and internal partners to scope solutions, coordinate testing and operational due diligence, and support a controlled transition into live processing. You anticipate friction points, surface risks early, and translate requirements into practical actions that keep delivery on track. You operate with independent ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to influence across functions, locations, and seniority levels.

You'll join a team that supports priority clients through onboarding, go-live, and early-life service for complex payment solutions across Asia Pacific (APAC). We bring together client, operational, and product perspectives to strengthen readiness, reduce avoidable issues, and improve the end-to-end experience. You will collaborate with peers across regions while owning outcomes for your client portfolio.

Job responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery for multiple complex onboarding engagements, including regional and bespoke payment solutions
  • Own operational due diligence, production verification, go-live monitoring, and post-go-live stabilization activities
  • Partner with clients to clarify requirements, confirm success criteria, and provide clear status updates and next steps
  • Translate business and operational needs into actionable plans for cross-functional delivery teams
  • Identify risks, escalate issues appropriately, and drive timely resolution with sustainable remediation plans
  • Coordinate across sales, product, client service, implementations, operations, and technology partners to align scope and execution
  • Build and maintain delivery governance, including milestones, dependencies, decisions, and outcomes tracking
  • Improve onboarding and readiness processes, templates, and working practices based on lessons learned
  • Maintain a strong risk and control mindset in all activities, including documentation and escalation where needed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 5 years experience in client onboarding, implementation, client service or operations within financial services or payments-related environments
  • Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin Chinese to engage effectively with China-based clients and internal partners.
  • Ability to independently manage complex deliverables, prioritize effectively, and apply sound judgment under time constraints
  • Demonstrated capability to identify risks, raise issues early, and drive resolution through multiple stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills, including governance, documentation, and timeline management across concurrent engagements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, continuous-improvement approach
  • Ability to build trusted relationships across clients, functions, and cultures

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of payments products and the operational and technology dependencies required for successful onboarding
  • Experience supporting regional or cross-border onboarding in Asia Pacific, including China-related requirements
  • Formal project management methods and strong stakeholder management experience
  • Exposure to e-commerce or high-volume, technology-enabled business models
  • Experience enabling cross-regional delivery through knowledge management and process improvement initiatives
