OUR CLIENT

Our client is a well-established global leader with a significant footprint across the Asia Pacific region. With a robust presence in 11 countries and overseeing a workforce of approx. 3,000 employees, they offer a stable yet dynamic environment. Due to regional expansion, they are seeking a seasoned APAC C&B Manager to be the regional subject matter expert based in their Singapore HQ.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a critical individual contributor role offering high visibility. You will not just execute tasks but will be a strategic partner to both the Global C&B Center of Excellence and APAC Regional Leadership. Reporting directly to the Director of Global Compensation with a functional reporting line to the APACHRVP, this role is perfect for a C&B professional looking to step up from a local/generalist scope to a truly regional specialization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Regional Mastery: Own the full spectrum of C&B for 11 countries. You will manage everything from base pay structures and job leveling to complex incentive plans and expat benefits.
  • Strategic Influence: Lead the annual compensation planning cycle and budgeting. You will analyze market data to advise senior leadership on how to stay competitive while managing costs.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the go-to person for HR Managers and Business Partners across APAC, translating global policies into practical local solutions.
  • Project Leadership: Drive regional benefit renewals, insurance tenders, and ad-hoc reward projects.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Experience: Minimum 8 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to C&B in a multi-country APAC environment. Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial sectors is a strong advantage.
  • Technical Edge: You are an Excel power user. You have worked with major HRIS platforms (Oracle/SAP/Workday). You understand the nuances of APAC statutory requirements.
  • The X-Factor: You are proactive, can work independently with minimal supervision, and are comfortable navigating a matrix organization. You know how to handle sensitive data with the utmost integrity.
  • Language: Native/Bilingual English. Additional Asian language skills are a bonus.
