You will be joining a global financial services organisation that is establishing its APAC presence through a new office in Singapore. With strong capabilities in fund services and long-standing credibility in global markets, the firm is now investing in the region to build a scalable, client-focused platform that supports long-term growth.

Your new role

As the APAC Head of Business Development APAC, you will take on a senior leadership role that blends strategy, commercial growth and client excellence. You will spearhead the firm's expansion across the region, driving market entry and shaping a long-term go-to-market plan while also leading hands-on business development activities. This role offers the rare opportunity to act as a founding member of the APAC business, where you will build and convert a targeted sales pipeline, originate and close new opportunities across alternative fund administration, and represent the organisation at industry events, conferences and client meetings. You will work closely with global leaders to align regional growth priorities, partner with marketing to position the firm effectively, and cultivate deep relationships with senior stakeholders including CFOs and COOs. Beyond winning new clients, you will also oversee key relationships post-sale to ensure the delivery of a high-touch and responsive service model, while contributing to internal collaboration, cross-office initiatives and continuous improvement.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 10-15 years of sales or business development experience with strong credibility among senior decision makers across Singapore and wider APAC
  • Strong understanding of alternative fund administration or relevant transferable exposure from adjacent investment sectors
  • Demonstrated history of managing end-to-end sales cycles and delivering consistent revenue growth
  • Ability to build and manage a targeted pipeline and collaborate closely with marketing on commercial initiatives
  • Excellent communication, commercial judgement and negotiation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel within APAC to meet clients and prospects
  • Strategic thinker with strong organisational skills and the ability to build scalable processes in a growing regional office
  • High levels of integrity, accountability and collaboration
