What the day will look like
Software Platform Strategy & Stakeholder Management
- Define and refine the strategic roadmap for the platform, ensuring enhancements align with overall business goals and integration with other strategic systems.
- Coordinate across multiple tenant groups on the platform to understand needs, utilization patterns, and pain points.
- Prioritize platform enhancements and capabilities in partnership with product, technology, and business stakeholders, making trade-off decisions and clearly communicating rationale.
- Manage stakeholder expectations, including the ability to say no or propose alternative solutions when requests do not align with strategic priorities.
- Partner with the technical lead and project manager to ensure clear translation of business needs into technical requirements, without owning day-to-day technical delivery details.
- Act as a central point for stakeholder alignment, facilitating workshops, governance forums, and regular communication to maintain engagement and transparency.
Support Team Operations & People Coordination
- Own and coordinate the work of the application support team, ensuring effective triage, resolution, and communication for incidents, requests, and enhancements.
- Oversee the work of the risk and compliance lead to ensure platform operations adhere to internal controls, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Oversee the program manager responsible for project execution, ensuring key milestones, resources, and dependencies are managed effectively.
- Support the onboarding and integration of new colleagues into the platform team, including documenting processes, responsibilities, and ways of working.
- Coordinate contractor engagement and processes (e.g., onboarding, extensions, offboarding) in partnership with HR, Procurement, and Vendor Management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of support and operational processes, including runbooks, SLAs, and reporting.
Operating in an Analytics-Driven Environment
- Use data and analytics to inform platform strategy, enhancement prioritization, and operational decision-making (e.g., usage metrics, incident trends, performance indicators).
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success measures for the platform, support operations, and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Partner with analytics teams to design and interpret dashboards and reports that surface platform utilization, risk, and opportunity areas.
- Communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear, structured, and compelling way.

This role is responsible for driving the strategic evolution and effective operation of our analytics platform. This role focuses on platform strategy, stakeholder alignment, and support team operations in an analytics-driven environment. While closely partnering with technical colleagues, this position does not require deep technical expertise but does demand strong business acumen, structured thinking, and excellent communication skills.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Required:
- 12+ years of experience in product management, platform management, business operations, or program management within a technology-enabled environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing diverse stakeholders and aligning them around a shared roadmap or platform vision.
- Proven ability to prioritize competing demands, make tough trade-off decisions, and manage expectations.
- Experience coordinating or leading operations for application support, service delivery, or similar functions.
- Comfort working in an analytics-driven environment, including interpreting dashboards, reports, and KPIs to drive decisions.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- High level understanding of software platforms, integrations, and application lifecycles (no deep technical expertise required).
- Experience working with multi-tenant or shared platforms and/or complex stakeholder environments.
- Exposure to agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
