Job Summary
Provide analytical testing support at our Laboratory to meet R&D, Quality, Engineering, and customer testing requirements.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Lab Manager and a team of scientists, engineers, and technicians to conduct laboratory testing.
- Prepare cross-section samples and perform microscopy analysis to evaluate material properties.
- Conduct thermal, rheological, and mechanical testing to support product development and quality assurance.
- Deliver laboratory testing services efficiently, accurately, and on schedule, ensuring accountability for objectives and work performed.
- Document and report test results clearly and accurately to meet customer requirements.
- Perform additional laboratory duties as assigned to support team goals.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience working in a laboratory or industrial environment preferred fresh school leavers are welcome as training will be provided.
- Experience in thermal or rheological testing, cross-section preparation, and microscopy analysis is advantageous.
- Background in printed circuit board (PCB), failure analysis, or polymer materials testing is preferred.
- Diploma or ITE (Nitec/Higher Nitec) in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.

- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as required.
- Able to work effectively under pressure and meet short deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
