The Opportunity
As part of our optimization leadershipteam, you will drive the strategic vision and execution of our globaloptimization practice, partnering with clients and internal stakeholders todeliver transformative, analytics-based solutions across Price Optimization, Marketing Offer Optimization, Business Outcome Simulation, Alternative DealStructures, Supply Chain Planning, Vehicle Routing, Credit Limit Management, Loan and Deposit Pricing, Collections and Recoveries, and beyond - built on thepower of the FICO Platform and Xpress Optimization suite.
What You'll Contribute
- Serve as a Practice Lead andsubject matter expert for a globally distributed team of optimizationconsultants and engineers. You will set the strategic direction of thepractice, cultivate client relationships at the highest levels, and ensureworld-class delivery across a complex portfolio of projects spanning multipleuse cases and geographies.
- Own regional leadership of thepractice - from pre-sales efforts, shaping proposals and statements of workproviding authoritative guidance on the adoption and strategic use of XpressOptimization software to ensuring consistent delivery excellence across allengagements. You will be responsible for building and evolving reusable assetsand delivery methodologies that increase the value offered to Clients by FICOPlatform.
- Serve as a trusted advisor toclients, engaging with C-suite and senior business leaders to translate complexoptimization and analytics capabilities into measurable business outcomes, witha focus on improving Time-To-Value across all delivery engagements. You willalso manage and grow strategic partner and alliances relationships, workingwith system integrators and technology partners to extend the reach and impactof the practice.
- Recruit, develop, and retain topoptimization talent globally, creating a culture of technical excellence,continuous learning, and client focus. You will mentor senior consultants andteam leads, providing the coaching and sponsorship needed to grow self-sufficiencyin the next generation of practice leadership. Partner with global staffingteams to embed cross-regional collaboration as standard practice, ensuring thatresources, expertise, and delivery capacity are shared effectively across timezones.
- Provide oversight across aportfolio of large-scale, global projects - establishing governance frameworks,managing risk, resolving critical escalations, and ensuring that projectoutcomes align with both client expectations and FICO's commercial objectives.Contribute to pricing strategy, resource planning, and revenue forecasting, anddrive revenue growth through new business development and strategic accountexpansion.
- Grow the practice's salesenablement capability, developing case studies and reference customernarratives that strengthen the pipeline and support the broader salesorganization. Empower and coach regional team members to own the end-to-endpre-sales process, building their visibility and self-sufficiency.
- Lead and contribute to R&Defforts that advance FICO's optimization capabilities, authoring white papers,thought leadership publications, and presenting at conferences to reinforceFICO's position as a global leader in mathematical optimization and advancedanalytics.
What We're Seeking
- Master's degree or PhD in operationsresearch, industrial engineering, applied mathematics, statistics, computerscience, or related technical discipline or equivalent professional experiencebeyond a BS degree.
- 10 or more years of experience inmathematical optimization and advanced analytics, with a proven track record ofleading global consulting or professional services practices.
- An established subject matter expertwith broad knowledge of optimization use cases, you are equally comfortablepresenting to a data science team and a boardroom. You have a demonstratedability to lead and influence in complex, matrixed global organizations,driving alignment across geographies, functions, and client stakeholderswithout relying solely on positional authority. You bring executive presence,strong consultative selling skills, and a track record of shaping and closinglarge, strategic engagements.
- Meaningful domain expertise infinancial services optimization, including Credit Limit Initiation, Management,and Authorization Loan, Mortgage, and Deposit pricing and Collections andRecoveries
- Extensive experience with causalmodeling & implementation in optimization frameworks to isolate the trueimpact of interventions such as pricing changes, credit limit adjustments, orcollections treatments, enabling more defensible and robust optimizationstrategies.
- Familiarity with commercialMathematical Optimization Software: Xpress, Gurobi, and/or IBM CPLEX with someknowledge/experience in commercial model development platforms such as AIMMS,AMPL, GAMS, OPL, Xpress-Mosel, Concert, MPL.
- Experience with a programminglanguage such as Python/Java/C++ or a combination of programming languages.
