Description

As a member of Sun Venture's Private Equity Direct Investment team, the Analyst / Senior Analyst will assist in the evaluation of investment opportunities through industry and market research, financial modelling and analysis, due diligence support and preparation of designated sections of internal approval materials.

The Analyst / Senior Analyst will also contribute to the ongoing monitoring and management of existing portfolio investments, including portfolio performance reporting and value creation initiatives. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting macro-level industry and market research to assess the attractiveness of potential investment target
• Analysing target company performance through operating ratio analysis and peer benchmarking
• Building financial models and IRR analyses to support valuation assessments
• Supporting deal execution, including the preparation of due diligence materials and designated sections of internal investment memoranda
• Monitoring portfolio company performances and preparing internal reports, while assisting with value creation initiatives
• Support origination through peer-level relationships and pipeline tracking

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, preferably in business, finance, accounting, or economics
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience in private market investments or corporate finance
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
• Demonstrated proficiency in preparing high-quality presentation materials and slide decks
• High level of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering quality work
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills
