Job Description

Our client seeks a dynamic Analyst to join a high-growth working capital platform. This role will collaborate with senior leadership to support the deal process from origination through structuring and execution. As part of a tight-knit, well-positioned working capital financing business, the role requires a team-oriented, self-starting professional who is polished and efficient in communicating at all levels (internal, external, and with third-party service providers).

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work alongside senior leadership to support asset origination and revenue generation efforts, anticipating the team's needs throughout the deal cycle.
  • Support the APAC team on prospecting and Origination partner management
  • Deliver client pitches to articulate solutions and structures that fulfill client needs
  • Deliver market feedback to internal teams to develop or enhance products and systems
  • Support end-to-end deal execution
  • Work with stakeholders such as Legal, Risk, and Operations to support the structuring of the deal.
  • Develop internal credit packs for investment committee approval
  • Lead deal documentation, KYC, and credit approval processes
  • Managing ongoing relationships with the clients to spot opportunities and risk flags

Qualification and Experience (Academic, Professional, Relevant Job Knowledge)

Relevant work experience at one or more of the following types of firms: investment bank (investment banking or leveraged finance), credit research.

  • Bachelor's degree with an excellent academic record. Master's degree/CFA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of Corporate Credit Analyst experience in a bank or financial services organization
  • Proficiency in English is a must, and proficiency in another Asian language is a plus
  • Ability to work across different time zones as per business requirements
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong analytical skills and multitasking abilities
  • Prior experience in deal documentation, KYC, and credit approval processes
  • Understanding or background with capital markets, financial services, and credit products is preferred
  • Strong project management and follow-through skills, ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to synthesize complex financial concepts and build financial models
  • Strong team player with an entrepreneurial predisposition and ability to work independently
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness and desire to learn
