Our client is a well-established asset management firm with core investments across real estate and sustainable infrastructure, and a strong presence across the APAC region.
This role is ideal for candidates from fund administration, asset management firms, or Big 4 audit (with exposure to investment funds) who are looking to transition into a buy-side fund management environment.
The Role
You will work closely with the line managers, supporting the following key responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end operations of assigned funds, including monitoring fund structures, cash flows and investor activities.
- Assist in maintaining fund-level data, records and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare and review investor reporting packages (monthly/quarterly), including performance summaries and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, custodians and internal stakeholders on reporting, valuations and fund matters.
- Support regulatory and compliance reporting, including KYC/AML documentation and periodic filings.
- Assist in fund setup, onboarding and structuring activities, including documentation and deal-related materials (e.g. deal bibles).
- Monitor underlying asset performance and business plans, working closely with asset management teams.
- Support Group-level reporting and consolidation, including AUM tracking and operational metrics.
- Respond to investor queries and assist in managing investor communications.
- Participate in process improvements and ad hoc projects relating to fund operations and reporting.
Your Profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in fund management, fund administration, or audit (Big 4 with exposure to funds/asset management clients).
- Familiarity with fund structures, investor reporting, and financial statements preferred.
- Exposure to private equity / real estate / asset management funds would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail, particularly in financial and operational data.
- Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g. KYC/AML) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with ability to liaise with external service providers and internal stakeholders.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple workstreams.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin language capability is a plus in order to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the region, including Chinese-speaking counterparts.
