JLL Equity Advisory is seeking an analyst for its leading real estate Equity Advisory practice in Asia Pacific, working out of the Singapore office. The team focuses on a breadth of strategic transactions including corporate M&A, portfolio acquisitions and divestitures, recapitalization, restructurings, Special Committee advisory, entity-level and joint venture capital raising and other investment banking deals.

The team's client base includes Institutional Investors, REITs, real estate operating companies and developers, open- and closed-end real estate funds, real estate asset/investment managers and other operating companies across all CRE sectors in the Asia Pacific.

This opportunity offers exposure to all stages of real estate equity advisory - building skills in real estate and corporate finance modeling, marketing and presentation, deal execution, market study and research, due diligence, and other facets of M&A investment banking - alongside a team of investment banking professionals and JLL's broader real estate platform.

Main Responsibilities

  • Undertaking complex valuation analyses and financial modeling exercises

  • Assisting in the preparation of memoranda, presentation materials, and marketing materials

  • Operating, financial and accounting due diligence

  • Preparing and participating in client presentations

  • Managing multiple aspects of day-to-day transaction execution

  • Reviewing and analyzing public company filings, legal documents, internal & third party data / research and other materials as part of the transaction process

  • Interacting with clients, investors and broader JLL team members

Preferred Experience

  • 1-3 years of investment banking, corporate finance or other finance experience (real estate, M&A, capital markets experience preferred)

  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong corporate finance background

  • Ability to be an independent worker with a team player attitude

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills able to interface with senior stakeholders and clients

  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of handling several tasks simultaneously

  • Familiar with use of appropriate electronic data sources (e.g. Bloomberg, Capital IQ, etc)
