Key Responsibilities
The Static Data Control Analyst/Associate supports the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of client and account static data across Wealth Management Operations.
This role ensures timely processing of static data requests, strong control standards, and reliable downstream trading and settlement outcomes.
- Operations & Delivery
- Perform end-to-end static data maintenance for client, account, and product data
- Process account lifecycle events such as:
- Account opening and closure
- Client profile updates
- GIRO, EPS, CPF/SRS, SIP, and related setups
- Ensure data is accurately captured across source systems and downstream platforms
- Meet turnaround times (SLAs) while maintaining high quality and zero-defect mindset
- Handle daily BAU and volume spikes in a controlled and disciplined manner
- Risk Control & Data Quality
- Ensure all static data changes comply with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Perform maker/checker controls where applicable
- Identify data discrepancies, breaks, and exceptions
- Investigate and resolve issues promptly to prevent downstream operational impact
- Maintain strong documentation and audit trails
- Exception Management & Investigation
- Investigate rejected or failed requests and follow up with relevant stakeholders
- Support resolution of client-impacting issues caused by incorrect or incomplete static data
- Escalate risks, delays, or control gaps in a timely manner
- Stakeholder Management
- Act as a reliable point of contact for internal stakeholders such as Front Office, Client Services, Operations, Technology, and Compliance
- Communicate clearly on request status, issues, and required follow-ups
- Build effective working relationships to support smooth end-to-end processing
- Process Improvement & Change Support
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual handling, and mitigate data risk
- Participate in system enhancements, UAT, and change initiatives related to static data
- Support implementation of new products, regulatory changes, or system rollouts
- Contribute ideas to reduce operational risk (e.g. paper handling, data loss, rework)
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in banking or financial services operations
- Exposure to static data, account maintenance, or client onboarding preferred
- Knowledge of Wealth Management or brokerage operations is an advantage
- Solid control mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Able to perform under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communicator with good stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
