Job Summary:

The Aviation team is responsible for:

• Marketing, structuring and executing aircraft financing transactions and
• Managing the relationship with most aviation clients in Asia Pacific.

The candidate will support the relationship managers from the aviation team in:

• Handling credit-related matters and processes to obtain approvals for any new transaction with an aviation client, or any aircraft financing transaction; and
• Marketing and execution of aircraft financing transactions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist in the structuring of credit facilities (initial research, financial analysis, cash flow modeling and projections, preparation of heads up paper for management)

• Preparing Credit Proposals for new transactions, which include:

- Financial spreadsheets and cash flow analysis;

- Corporate, industry and country research and analysis;

- Describe deal structure as well as Risk and Mitigants

- Collate all required regulatory elements

• Understand the banks internal ratios (return on capital, credit ratings, recovery values) and the related tools (Singular).
• Coordinate credit process with risk, portfolio, and syndication teams
• Assist relationship manager in deal structuring, including drafting and reviewing term sheets, cash flow modeling, help during documentation process, and during closing process.
• Help relationship manager in KYC matters.
• Support the Head of Aviation APAC with ad-hoc request: market analysis, transversal initiatives, reporting, etc.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor degree
• Self-motivated, good team player, customer focused, ability to take responsibility and work independently on projects;
• Initiative in coordinating team members or other departments around the globe;
• Strong business acumen with good sense of deal closing;
• Excellent English communication skills – written / oral internally to liaise with mandarin speaking clients is a plus.
