About the Role
Zero-Error Systems (ZES) is seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Analog Integrated Circuit (IC) Designer.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will collaborate with other Designers on various analog IC designs across applications such as commercial, automotive and space. You will have the opportunity to be involved in full product lifecycle, including:
- Development of analog integrated circuits (ICs) from specification to prototype
- Schematic and layout design of analog ICs including pre- and post-simulations verifications
- Testing and debugging of analog IC prototypes
- Characterization and validation of IC performance
- Functional verifications across different applications
- Collaborating with the Team Lead to deliver circuit block designs and performance verification, and supporting design integration
- Working closely with Layout Engineers to deliver physical design implementation
- Supporting Test Engineers during the product qualification process
- Performing any other duties as assigned
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in analog IC design and at least two IC product tapeouts
- Experience in analog circuit design, layout, and verification, particularly in buck converters, LDOs, bandgap references, amplifiers, comparators, current sensing, and power switches
- Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Cadence, Spectre, HSPICE, and MATLAB
- Familiarity with CMOS, BiCMOS, and other process technologies
- Strong expertise in power management, including DC/DC converter design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Good team player with excellent communication skills
