Job Summary
Sunlight Ambulance Services LLP is looking for a proactive and organized Ambulance Operator Officer to manage ambulance bookings, handle customer calls, schedule and dispatch cases, and support operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage ambulance bookings by scheduling and dispatching resources accurately to ensure timely deployment
- Handle customer calls and inquiries professionally to provide clear and accurate information about services
- Coordinate with operations staff to confirm ambulance and team availability and resolve booking challenges
- Follow up with clients to provide updates and resolve service-related issues promptly
- Assist the Coordinator in scheduling, dispatching, and allocating resources to support daily operations
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, incident reports, and vehicle usage to ensure operational transparency
- Monitor and update operational metrics to maintain compliance with company standards
- Prepare and organize reports, invoices, and compliance documents to support administrative functions
- Coordinate with team members to ensure proper documentation for regulatory and operational requirements
- Manage office supplies and equipment to maintain smooth daily operations
- Communicate effectively with drivers, paramedics, and EMTs to ensure smooth execution of ambulance bookings
- Assist in organizing training sessions, safety drills, and team meetings to support staff readiness
- Address customer feedback and escalate issues to the Operations Manager when necessary
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum O Level/diploma or equivalent
- Certification in administration or customer service is a plus
- At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, administrative, or operations roles
- Experience in healthcare, logistics, or emergency services is advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
