Ambit Risk & Performance Functional Consultant

  • Location: Remote – Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, or other APAC locations with overlapping time zone
  • Language Requirement: Mandarin Chinese (Required)
  • Employment Type: Contract / Consulting Engagement

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ambit Risk & Performance Functional Consultant to join our Treasury & Risk practice. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Asset & Liability Management (ALM), Risk Management, and financial software implementation. Candidates must be fluent in Mandarin Chinese and able to work within APAC time zones to support client engagements across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead client engagements from discovery, analysis, and solution design through implementation and delivery.
  • Conduct business requirements gathering workshops and stakeholder interviews.
  • Facilitate solution design sessions and recommend best practices.
  • Configure and implement treasury and risk management solutions based on client requirements.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Deliver user training, knowledge transfer sessions, and post-go-live support.
  • Prepare functional documentation, process flows, and project deliverables.
  • Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and production rollout.

Required Experience

  • 6+ years of consulting or functional implementation experience within Treasury, Risk, or Banking domains.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Asset & Liability Management (ALM)
  • Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)
  • Liquidity Risk Management
  • IFRS9 / Expected Credit Loss (ECL)
  • Experience implementing or supporting vendor solutions such as:
  • Ambit Focus
  • Balance Sheet Manager (BSM)
  • Workiva
  • Murex
  • Fusion Risk (Finastra)
  • Fusion Kondor
  • Calypso
  • Similar Asset & Liability Management platforms
  • Mandarin Chinese language proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Strong Business Analysis capabilities
  • SQL
  • Stakeholder Management
  • JIRA
  • Functional Documentation and Requirements Gathering
  • Workshop Facilitation and Client Communication

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with banking, treasury, or financial services clients.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
  • Previous consulting experience in large-scale transformation or implementation projects.
  • Experience working in international or cross-regional teams.
