Algorithm Engineer (Machine Learning)
We are looking for an Algorithm Engineer to develop and optimize recommendation, matching, and marketing algorithms that improve user experience and business performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve machine learning models for recommendation, matching, and growth-related use cases.
- Analyze data and identify opportunities to enhance product performance and user experience.
- Build and deploy machine learning models, from data processing and feature engineering to monitoring and optimization.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to solve real-world problems using data and AI.
- Research and apply the latest machine learning techniques to drive innovation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Recommendation Systems, Search, Advertising, or related areas.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning/deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Good understanding of machine learning fundamentals and data-driven problem solving.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to work across teams.
- Passion for AI, algorithms, and building impactful products.
Preferred
- Experience with Recommendation Systems, Search Ranking, Advertising Algorithms, or Marketplace Matching.
- Familiarity with Reinforcement Learning, Time Series Forecasting, Optimization, or Causal Inference.
- Experience conducting A/B testing and deploying models into production.
