Role: AIX System Administrator (Minimum 5 Years Experience)

Location:Singapore

Duration: 12 Months (Extendable)

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with application teams for EOS upgrade planning

Define configuration standards for UNIX and system software

Provide technical assistance to dev/ops teams

Script automation using Perl, KSH, Python

Work with GIT/GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Nagios

Troubleshoot and drive system recovery with urgency

Lead AIX OS upgrades and ensure supportability

Review and supervise major change requests

Conduct performance tuning & analysis

Automate operations for efficiency

Drive OS/software upgrade cycles

Manage backup and recovery

AIX OS & system services (Volume Manager, NTP, DNS, Clustering, SSH, TSM, ITM)

UNIX troubleshooting & tuning

UNIX server clustering

Information security fundamentals

Data communication & networking

Middleware/app execution in UNIX (advantage)
