Support daily air freight export and import operations, ensuring smooth handling of cargo from acceptance through delivery.
Assist in preparing and processing air freight documentation, including airway bills (MAWB/HAWB), permits, customs forms, and other regulatory paperwork.
Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, transport partners, customs brokers, and internal teams to secure space, confirm bookings, and maintain shipment schedules.
Monitor cargo status and provide real-time updates to customers and stakeholders.
Facilitate compliance with relevant air cargo regulations, customs requirements, and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Liaise with customers and freight forwarders to handle queries, shipment changes, and service requests.
Assist with cargo tracking, reporting, data entry into logistics systems, and record-keeping to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Support value-added services such as real-time tracking, cargo security management, and coordination of storage or transport insurance when applicable.
Requirements:
Minimally 1 year working experience in air freight operations, freight forwarding, or logistics support.
Familiarity with airfreight documentation and customs clearance procedures.
Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and basic logistics IT systems.
Good communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact with colleagues, customers, and external partners.
