ALG is currently hiring Aircraft Planners for our internationally renowned airline client based in Singapore.
This role will be on a long-term contract with an optional extension and a chance for permanent role conversion should you excel.
Job Responsibilities:
- Issue serviceable label for customer parts after performing Good Receipt procedure, as required.
- Carry out general visual inspection during receive-in of parts.
- Ensure all relevant document (e.g., ARC, COC, repair report) are accompanied with new and/or repaired parts.
- Coordinate internallogistics for all materials, components, and modules.
- Control / Management ofunserviceable and quarantine materials and components.
- Coordinate withcentral logistics on all inbound/outbound shipments.
- Carry out receiving and dispatch process for all shipments, including but not limited to, the following:
- Raise purchase request (PR) and/or purchase order (PO) for third party repair.
- Update SAP, as necessary, on movement of parts that are sent to third party supplier.
- Provide daily/weekly inventory reports.
- Coordinate with scheduler and bay planners on induction and/or build dates to ensure material and component availability.
- Ensure all parts in Daily Shortages Sheet (DSS) arrive in time per engine build schedule.
- Ensure sufficientmaterial cage carts available for engine disassembly.
- Ensure sufficientpackaging available for external shipments, including module transport boxes, cartons, and crates.
- Coordinate with supplier for fabrication of transportation containers as required.
- Such other duties as assigned by Executive, Engine Planning.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or any equivalent
- 1 year of working experience in the Aviation Sector Fresh Graduates with internship experience are welcome to apply
- Desired Skills: Microsoft Excel - Data Analytics Skills Stakeholder Management
- Willing and able to perform rotating shifts, including night-shift work where necessary.
- Good command of spoken and written English.
