Job Description

Responsibilities:

The Aircraft Painter is responsible for sanding and preparing surfaces for paint, mixing paint products, and applying paint products within the allocated man-hour budgets while staying on schedule and maintaining quality standards and performing the tasks within the guidelines of all safety and regulatory regulations and requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare paint, prepare a surface and apply paint
  • Apply paint in accordance with work instructions
  • Prepare surfaces for overlap between painted areas
  • Prepare for paint touch-ups or small areas (1 liter maximum)
  • Knowledge of paint tools and their correct use
  • Knowledge of the different types of paints and how to apply them
  • Perform all work according to Bombardier standards, including quality and safety policies
  • Able to carry out visual checks in accordance with project requirements to identity reasons for both non-conformities and successful outcomes
  • Complete timecards daily and ensure that the snag/task card information is correct
  • Punctual, meticulous and good time management

Qualifications


As our ideal candidate,

  • You must have 2+ years of aircraft paint experience on business aircraft or similar
  • You must be able to work from documentation such as company procedures, preparation packages
  • You must be able to work in a confined space
  • You must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • You must have a diploma or relevant trade certificates or equivalent
