ALG is currently hiring Aircraft Painters for our international MRO client based in Loyang, Singapore. This is a full-time role with an Aircraft Painting team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform painting and bench repair works including masking, blending, inserts & broken studs removal/replacement in accordance with technical manuals.
- Crosstrain to support repair processes in Sheet Metal, Plasma Spray, Bonding and Cleaning.
- Interpret technical blueprints and rework dimensions to meet repair specifications.
- Conduct inspections using precision measuring instruments to ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Support production linearity, workshop setup, housekeeping, and other activities to maintain operational efficiency.
- Assist Cell Leaders and Workshop Engineers in meeting daily production targets and achieving operational goals.
- Maintain and manage operational tooling and fixtures to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Perform SAP transactions, including updating and modifying work orders as required.
- Ensure accurate and complete documentation of repair work and related activities.
- Execute daily tasks in compliance with Quality procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Actively participate in EH&S programs, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintain high standards of ethics and compliance.
- Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Min. 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in Painting or Plasma Spray.
- Candidates with no prior aerospace experience but with Industrial Painting or Plasma spray experience are welcome to apply.
- Able to lift and carry components in accordance with workplace safety standards.
- Good understanding of technical drawing and manuals.
