How you create impact
- Manage end-to-end air freight export and import shipments, ensuring accurate and timely execution in line with customer transit time requirements.
- Coordinate closely with Customer Care, Carriers, Gateways, Warehouses, Customs, Billing and other stakeholders to deliver seamless operational execution.
- Monitor shipment milestones and update customers and stakeholders on shipment status, while supporting 24/7 operational requirements and emergency shipment handling when required.
- Coordinate booking arrangements with carriers and service providers, ensure timely preparation and verification of shipping documentation, and proactively identify operational risks and corrective actions.
- Deliver high-quality customer service, respond to customer enquiries and shipment exceptions, manage escalations, and build strong working relationships with key customers.
- Ensure accurate and timely cost capture, vendor invoice validation and billing accuracy, while maintaining operational productivity and cost efficiency.
- Participate in operational excellence, digitalization, process improvement and automation initiatives.
What we would like you to bring
- Experience or understanding of airfreight logistics processes and compliance requirements, with the ability to manage both import and export shipments.
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills, working effectively with customers, carriers, service providers and internal teams.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to respond promptly to enquiries, manage shipment exceptions and resolve escalations.
- Good attention to detail in shipping documentation, cost capture, billing and operational processes.
- Ability to identify operational risks, implement corrective actions and contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Willingness to work in a standard working-hours environment with occasional weekend coverage based on customer requirements
