As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers promises. . Manage end-to-end Healthcare shipments, ensuring accurate and timely execution in line with customer transit time requirements.
. Coordinate closely with Customer Care, Carriers, Gateways, Warehouses, Customs, Billing, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless operational execution.
. Deliver exceptional service in a 24/7 operational environment, making timely and accurate decisions to support mission-critical shipments.
Operational / Tactical duties
. Manage end-to-end execution of healthcare air freight shipments from origin to destination.
. Monitor temperature-controlled and time-critical shipments to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
. Coordinate booking arrangements with carriers and service providers.
. Ensure timely preparation and verification of shipping documentation.
. Proactively identify operational risks and implement corrective actions to prevent service failures.
. Manage shipment milestones and update customers and stakeholders on shipment status.
. Support 24/7 operational requirements and emergency shipment handling when required.
Leadership Responsibility
. Act as a subject matter expert for healthcare logistics processes and compliance requirements.
. Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team.
. Ensure adherence to operational standard operating procedures.
. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Customer / Commercial Responsibility
. Deliver high-quality customer service aligned with agreed service levels.
. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and shipment exceptions.
. Support customer reviews and operational meetings.
. Manage escalation cases and provide timely resolutions.
. Build strong working relationships with key healthcare customers.
Financial Responsibility
. Ensure accurate and timely cost capture and vendor invoice validation.
. Maintain operational productivity and cost efficiency.
. Support billing accuracy and timely revenue recognition.
. Minimize operational losses arising from service failures or documentation errors.
. Adhere to company financial controls and compliance requirements.
Strategic Responsibility
. Participate in operational excellence and digitalization projects.
. Contribute to process improvement and automation opportunities.
. Assist in strengthening healthcare service capabilities within the organization.
