Job description:
1. Customer Service & Account Management
- SOP Compliance: Maintain a deep understanding of customer-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and specialized shipment handling requirements with clear execution.
- Client Engagement: Serve as a responsive point of contact, ensuring all customer inquiries are addressed with speed and professionalism.
- Service Excellence: Cultivate and maintain high-quality relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients to ensure long-term satisfaction.
2. Shipment Lifecycle & Coordination
- End-to-End Quotation: Partner with local sales teams and the global network/agents to manage shipment life cycles from initial quotation to final closure.
- Booking Optimization: Collaborate with the Air Pricing team to secure bookings, focusing on cost-efficiency and cargo consolidation for all export shipments.
- Shipment Tracking: Proactively monitor shipment status and uplifting provide real-time updates to all parties and resolve any operational incidents or delays.
- Vendor Liaison: Coordinate with vendors for timely cargo pickups and transfers, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided for accurate permit declarations.
3. Documentation & Quality Control
. Compliance: Meticulously verify airfreight and shipping documents, proactively flagging discrepancies or non-compliance issues to customers and overseas agents
- Operational Directives: Provide the Air Export operations team with execution instructions, including detailed cost information to ensure seamless handling.
- Reporting: Generate and deliver accurate weekly and monthly performance reports for internal management and external clients.
4. Financial Management & Team Support
- Financial Integrity: Manage the full financial workflow for shipments, including cost accruals, vendor invoice processing, and precise job costing.
- Billing Oversight: Monitor billing cycles to ensure timely invoicing and the accuracy of all shipment-related charges.
- Team Collaboration: Act as a versatile team player by providing backup and cross-functional support to both Air Export and Import departments
- General Duties: Execute any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management.
