Responsible for designing, optimizing, and governing end-to-end air freight processes to ensure operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, cost control, and high service quality. This role acts as a bridge between operations, IT, commercial teams, and external partners to standardize workflows, improve performance, and support scalable growth across air freight operations.
Key Tasks
Process Management & Optimization
- Own and continuously improve end-to-end air freight processes (booking, capacity planning, documentation, customs coordination, uplift, tracking, delivery, invoicing).
- Identify inefficiencies, risks, and bottlenecks, lead process redesign and standardization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, and work instructions aligned with IATA and local regulations.
- Drive automation and digitalization initiatives in collaboration with IT and system vendors.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as the main process interface between Operations, Sales, Finance, IT, and Compliance.
- Collaborate with airlines, ground handlers, GSSAs, and freight forwarders to improve operational alignment.
- Support commercial initiatives by ensuring operational feasibility of new products and services.
Change & Project Management
- Lead or support cross-functional projects (system implementations, network changes, new lane launches).
- Manage change initiatives, including communication, training, and adoption at station level.
- Provide process training and coaching to operational teams.
