Oversee and manage the daily maintenance of all air-conditioning (ACMV), Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), kitchen equipment, and building facilities to ensure safe and efficient operation with minimal downtime.
Lead and supervise preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance works for air-conditioning systems, electrical systems, plumbing, fire protection systems, and building services.
Troubleshoot and rectify electrical faults, including power trips, circuit failures, and other M&E issues.
Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment, including cooking equipment, refrigeration units, exhaust systems, and related appliances.
Diagnose and repair air-conditioning systems, including servicing, fault finding, and coordinating major repairs when required.
Investigate equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
Coordinate maintenance schedules with operations to minimise disruption to business activities.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programmes to improve equipment reliability and extend asset lifespan.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, equipment history, and service documentation.
Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure sufficient stock of critical maintenance items.
Coordinate statutory inspections, servicing, testing, and certification with contractors, Professional Engineers (PE), Authorized Examiners (AE), and relevant authorities.
Manage emergency repairs, planned shutdowns, equipment installation, and facility improvement projects.
Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance technicians, contractors, and external service providers.
Allocate manpower and resources to ensure maintenance works are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Provide technical guidance and on-the-job coaching to the maintenance team.
Conduct toolbox meetings and monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with Company standards.
Ensure all maintenance works comply with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations, statutory requirements, and Company policies.
Enforce safe work practices, including Permit-to-Work (PTW) and risk assessment procedures.
Carry out routine inspections to identify safety hazards, maintenance issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in ACMV, facilities management, or Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) maintenance.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing air-conditioning systems, electrical faults (including power trips), commercial kitchen equipment, and general building services.
Good knowledge of preventive maintenance planning, contractor management, and statutory compliance.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Familiar with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and maintenance best practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
Good leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Possession of a Class 3 Driving Licence will be an added advantage.
