AI R&D Engineer

We're looking for an AI R&D Engineer who is passionate about transforming cutting-edge AI

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing AI systems that power

intelligent applications, conversational experiences, and knowledge-driven workflows. This is an

What You'll Do

Build AI Systems

- Design and develop AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-

Augmented Generation (RAG), and agent-based architectures.

- Build and optimize semantic search, knowledge retrieval, and conversational AI capabilities.

- Develop scalable backend services that support AI-driven products and workflows.

Improve AI Performance

- Experiment with prompt engineering, model evaluation, fine-tuning strategies, and

inference optimization.

- Measure and improve response quality, accuracy, latency, and reliability.

- Build testing and monitoring frameworks to ensure production-grade performance.

Research and Innovation

- Stay up to date with the latest developments in LLMs, AI agents, multimodal AI, and

emerging technologies.

- Evaluate new frameworks, tools, and research papers for practical applications.

- Prototype and validate innovative approaches that can enhance product capabilities.

Collaborate Across Teams

- Work closely with Product Managers and Software Engineers to translate ideas into

deployable solutions.

- Contribute to technical architecture decisions and engineering best practices.

- Document experiments, findings, and implementation approaches for knowledge sharing.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a

related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in software engineering or AI development.

- Programming skills in Python and experience building software systems.

- Experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, or AI application

development.

- Hands-on proficiency with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or similar).

- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, APIs, and modern software development practices.

- Highly self-driven - able to break down problems and advance tasks autonomously with

minimal supervision (required).

- Strong analytical thinking and a passion for learning and innovation.

Bonus Points

- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar AI ecosystems.

- Familiarity with agent frameworks (e.g. LangGraph), MCP, and vector search.

- Experience deploying AI applications into production environments.

- Knowledge of model fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, or AI agent systems.

- Personal AI / agent side projects (a strong signal of intrinsic drive).

- Contributions to open-source projects, technical blogs, or research publications.
