AI Project Manager/ PMO (Transformation & Innovation Strategy)

As the AI Project Manager / PMO, you will sit at the intersection of innovation and execution within our client's Technology & Transformation team. This is a unique role where you will champion the adoption of cutting-edge AI capabilities while safeguarding our organization through robust governance, compliance, and risk frameworks.

You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI pilots - from initial ideation and proof-of-concept (PoC) to deployment - ensuring that all initiatives align with financial services regulations, data privacy laws, and ethical AI standards.

• Drive the execution of AI/ML initiatives and generative AI pilots across various business units.
• Act as the bridge between data scientists, engineers, business stakeholders, and legal/compliance teams.
• Implement and maintain governance frameworks for Responsible AI, ensuring data privacy, model explainability, and security.
• Establish PMO metrics to track pilot success rates, ROI, and risk posture for executive leadership updates.
• Guide business units through the cultural shift of adopting AI tools, managing expectations and pushback.

skills and experience required

• 5+ years of experience in Project Management or PMO roles, ideally within the financial services or insurance sector
• Proven experience managing AI, machine learning, or advanced data analytics projects
• Solid understanding of AI concepts, including AI agents and enterprise AI applications
• Strong business acumen with the ability ro communicate effiectively
