AI Product Engineer

Parcel Perform is looking for a passionate AI Product Engineer excited to build and scale AI powered product capabilities. This role is ideal for a product professional with a technical background - whether you've worked as an engineer, data analyst, or technical PM - who wants to shape how AI is embedded into our product ecosystem.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Identify and shape high impact AI use cases that enhance customer experience, automation and decision making within our Ecommerce solutions.

• Translate business problems and product ideas into clear, structured and well defined AI powered product capabilities.

• Evaluate AI model outputs, edge cases, and failure modes to ensure quality and reliability.

• Prototype and validate AI solutions before committing to full engineering investment.

• Drive end to end execution of AI initiatives from concept through launch and continuous iteration.

• Work closely with Engineering and Data teams to refine solution design, validate feasibility and ensure scalable implementation.

• Define detailed functional requirements and workflows, ensuring AI features behave predictably and deliver intuitive user experiences.

• Partner with Product Design to ensure AI capabilities are practical, transparent and easy for customers to adopt.

• Monitor product performance, analyse usage data and iterate on AI functionality to improve impact and reliability.

• Contribute to shaping best practices for how AI is embedded into our product ecosystem.

WHO YOU ARE

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Product Management, with at least 2 years in a technical PM, solutions engineering, software engineering or data analyst role, combined with strong product exposure.

• Deeply excited about AI and believe it will fundamentally reshape how products are built, how decisions are made and how businesses operate.

• Actively curious about emerging AI capabilities and motivated to apply them in practical, high impact product use cases.

• Strong execution orientation with the ability to turn AI driven ideas into structured, shipped product functionality.

• Comfortable working closely with Engineering and Data teams to refine system behaviour, workflows and solution design.

• Energised by experimentation and iteration, constantly looking for ways AI can unlock smarter automation and better user experiences.

• Analytical and outcome focused, with the ability to measure real world impact and continuously improve AI capabilities.

• Comfortable reading code, technical documentation, or API specifications

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts such as LLMs, prompt engineering, or model evaluation

• Experience with SQL, Python, or data analysis tools

• Background in software engineering, data science, solutions engineering, or technical product management
