Description
We are seeking an experienced AI Lead on a contract basis to drive the development of innovative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI and machine learning, with the ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end AI solution engineering, from architecture and design through production delivery, ensuring technical quality across in-house and vendor solutions.
- Define standards for AWS-based AI solutions, covering GenAI, Agentic AI, RAG, LLM integration, document intelligence, orchestration, and MLOps/LLMOps.
- Partner with Architecture, Cloud, Data, Governance, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, reusable, cost-efficient, and enterprise-aligned.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, including solution design, implementation reviews, team leadership, and vendor management.
Skills and Qualifications
- 7-15 years of experience in AI and machine learning.
- 7+ years in software/AI engineering, including 3+ years in senior technical lead or architect roles.
- Strong hands-on experience delivering AI/ML/GenAI solutions in production.
- Deep expertise in AWS AI and cloud-native services, including Bedrock, SageMaker, Textract, Comprehend, OpenSearch, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and S3.
- Strong knowledge of GenAI engineering, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector stores, evaluation, and hallucination mitigation.
- Proven ability to design secure, scalable, observable, and maintainable production systems.
