Summary
The AI Infrastructure Datacenter Design Engineer Level 4 serves as a senior technical leader responsible for highly complex, large-scale data hall designs and strategic infrastructure initiatives. This role drives technical standards, design governance, and cross-functional coordination across multiple programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale and highly complex infrastructure design initiatives across multiple data halls or regions.
- Define and enforce engineering standards, design methodologies, and operational best practices.
- Provide technical leadership for major infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and expansion projects.
- Mentor senior engineers and lead technical knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Review and approve critical infrastructure designs and engineering decisions.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in data center design processes and technologies.
- Partner with leadership teams on capacity planning, strategic roadmap development, and operational planning.
- Manage high-priority escalations and provide expert-level troubleshooting support.
- Support vendor evaluations, technical reviews, and architecture governance processes.
