AI infra engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop modular, production-ready code deployable across cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) or on-prem environments.

• Re-architect existing systems to transform complex business requirements into scalable software components.

• Build AI-driven systems that integrate research models into robust, scalable business solutions.

• Drive engineering best practices across feature development, architecture, coding standards, and DevOps/MLOps.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure deliverables meet security, performance, and maintainability standards.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI, Operations Research, or related field.

4+ years in AI/ML or software engineering, with a focus on production systems.

Experience with infrastructure as code on a major cloud platform.

Hands-on experience deploying software using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Strong background in microservices, API design, and system architecture.

Proficient in Python and familiar with:

• SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB)

• Testing frameworks like PyTest

Nice to have: experience deploying AI models to production, orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Ray), reporting tools (Tableau, Holistics), or supply chain AI solutions (inventory optimization, demand forecasting).
