Rhino Partners is seeking experienced AI Full Stack Engineers to join a high-impact AI programme supporting a national education agency. This role offers the opportunity to design, build, and scale production-grade AI applications that improve teaching, learning, and operational excellence across the education sector.
You'll work alongside software engineers, product managers, designers, data scientists, and government stakeholders to develop AI-powered products and shared platform capabilities, leveraging modern full-stack technologies and Large Language Models (LLMs) in a secure, scalable cloud environment.

What You'll Be Doing
As an AI Full Stack Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and operate production-ready AI applications within MOE's AI ecosystem.
- Build high-quality full-stack solutions using TypeScript, React, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and AWS.
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal AI services into production systems, including prompt engineering, tool/function calling, streaming, voice interactions, retrieval, and conversational memory.
- Develop AI evaluation frameworks to measure model quality, safety, regression performance, and human review workflows.
- Implement observability across AI applications through tracing, logging, metrics, user feedback, and model behaviour monitoring.
- Transform AI prototypes into scalable, secure, and maintainable production platforms.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Data Scientists, Governance teams, and stakeholders to deliver impactful AI solutions.
- Contribute to software engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, security, code quality, and operational excellence.
What We're Looking ForRequired Skills & Experience
- Strong software engineering fundamentals including system design, testing, debugging, security, CI/CD, and observability.
- Proven experience building and delivering production-grade full-stack applications.
- Hands-on experience or strong practical knowledge of LLM application development.
- Good understanding of AI system evaluation, regression testing, monitoring, failure analysis, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in Agile software delivery environments.

- Familiarity with AI evaluation frameworks, Langfuse, OpenTelemetry, or similar observability platforms.
- Experience developing AI products in regulated, government, education, or other high-trust environments.
- Exposure to modern AI platform engineering and MLOps practices.
