AI Engineering Solution Trainee

This position reports to the Firmware Engineering Manager and will be trained to:

. Build an AI-enabled monitoring system for SG testbeds with real-world impact

. Enable intern to design and implement end-to-end engineering solutions

. Develop capability in AI integration, system design, and lab automation

. Deliver a production-relevant solution usable by engineering teams

Learning Outcomes:

. Solve engineering challenges using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.)

. Design and prototype innovative solutions to improve engineering workflows, testing, or productivity

. Work closely with engineers to translate problem statements into practical solutions

. Support lab setup, configuration, and maintenance for development and testing activities

. Contribute to automation, test improvements, or development accelerators

. Document and present solutions and learnings to the team

Technical Skills and Competencies:

. AI tools, coding, and problem-solving

. Familiar with programming languages (e.g., Python, C/C++, or similar)

. Curious mindset with a passion for innovation and experimentation

. Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team

. Hands-on working in lab environments
