About the Role
As an AI Engineering Lead, you'll design and implement next-generation platforms integrating agentic AI, knowledge graphs, and developer productivity systems. You'll work at the intersection of AI, developer experience, and large-scale distributed systems, partnering with global engineering, product, and AI/ML teams to drive measurable impact on productivity and code quality. Open to relocation.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop and build AI-powered systems to automate and enhance software development workflows.
- Lead the design and evolution of knowledge graph and retrieval systems powering enterprise-scale Generative AI applications.
- Develop developer productivity platforms and intelligent code-review or workflow automation tools used globally.
- Integrate LLMs and AI agents into engineering workflows to streamline coding, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across engineering, product, and infrastructure to deliver scalable solutions.
- Promote best practices in software quality, observability, and security.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of: Python, Java, Go, or C++.
- Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, distributed systems, and SDLC best practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, LLMs, or developer tooling platforms (e.g., Backstage, Port).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Experience
- Designing or integrating knowledge graphs, RAG pipelines, or AI-driven search systems.
- Exposure to DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform).
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools or agentic automation frameworks.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
