Responsibilities
AI & Data Engineering
Design and implement AI-powered pipelines for industrial water applications such as:
- Sensor anomaly detection
- Water quality prediction and sensor drift detection
- Predictive maintenance for pumps, valves, and meters
- Develop predictive machine learning and time-series analytics pipelines for high-frequency sensor data
- Build and maintain feature engineering pipelines for physical and hydraulic signals
IoT & Systems Integration
- Integrate AI Agents with IoT platforms, SCADA systems, and edge devices
- Deploy models across cloud and edge environments (containerized or embedded)
- Collaborate with domain experts, firmware and hardware teams to translate operational requirements to AI-driven solutions
- Optimize models for latency, reliability, and efficiency
Cloud & Agentic AI Workflows
- Integrate AI agents with IoT sensors and cloud data platforms.
- Develop AI-driven data analysis, anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, and recommendation engines for water operations
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG),knowledge graphs, and LLM-based decision-support systems
- Deploy AI services using cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
- Design APIs and data services for real-time and batch inference
- Monitor workflow performance and data quality in production
Applied Research &Innovation
- Apply physics-informed ML, hybrid models, or graph-based approaches where applicable
- Translate operational problems into solvable AI solutions
- Prototype and validate solutions using real industrial datasets
- Document models clearly for engineering, operations, and regulatory review
Requirements:
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with machine learning for time-series data
- Hands on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering
- Experience building or integrating agentic AI workflows
- Familiarity with RAG, vector databases, LangChain like frameworks
- Solid understanding of statistics, signal processing, and anomaly detection
- Experience handling IoT data pipelines(streaming and batch)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Domain & Systems Awareness
- Understanding of industrial or physical systems (water, energy, manufacturing, or utilities preferred)
