AI Engineer (Generative AI, Data & Optimisation) - Contract

We are hiring an AI Engineer to help build AI solutions for education-such as tools that automate curriculum work and support personalised learning. You will work with seniors who will guide you. You will learn by doing real project tasks: building AI features, working with data, creating dashboards, and helping deploy solutions.

Key responsibilities

Generative AI (Azure OpenAI / RAG)

• Help build and test chatbot / GenAI features using Available Platform

• Use RAG (search + AI answers) to make responses more accurate

• Improve prompts and test output quality

Data + dashboards

• Work with project data using Python / other programming languages and SQL

• Build simple ETL pipelines into SQL Server / Azure Blob / File Storage

• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards (KPIs, trends, reporting)

Deployment and integration (with guidance)

• Help deploy AI features using Docker / related tool

• Support infrastructure setup using Terraform / related tool (if needed)

• Help integrate AI features into existing systems using APIs

• Use monitoring tools (e.g., Application Insights) to check performance and errors

Optimisation (basic exposure)

• Support simple scheduling / rostering solutions using OR-Tools

• Help test results with real-world requirements

Compliance and privacy (important)

• Follow PDPC and internal data governance rules

• Help with basic compliance tasks like access control (RBAC) and documentation (DPIA/ROPA) with guidance

Teamwork

• Work with teachers/operations teams to gather requirements and test solutions

• Track work in Notion, collaborate using GitHub

What we are looking for:

• Relevant Qualification in IT, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• Basic Programming Language

• Basic SQL

• Interest in AI / GenAI and willingness to learn fast

• Able to explain your work clearly and document what you did

• Responsible attitude toward data privacy

• Willingness to work as a team
