AI Engineer specializing in NLP and document intelligence, responsible for building and enhancing AI solutions for financial and legal document analysis within a Tier-1 bank environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and enhance AI/NLP solutions for clause extraction, semantic comparison, and risk classification.
- Develop and fine-tune embedding-based models for semantic similarity across varied clause wording.
- Collaborate with SMEs and compliance stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into AI logic.
- Implement explainable AI approaches to ensure traceability of AI-generated outputs.
- Expose AI capabilities via secure APIs and integrate with downstream systems.
- Adhere to data privacy and secure coding standards in a Tier-1 bank environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in NLP, semantic search, and document intelligence.
- Proficiency in Python, Doc AI, Vertex AI, Hugging Face, spaCy, PyTorch/TensorFlow.
- Experience with transformer-based models, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
- REST API development (FastAPI/Flask), Git, and basic CI/CD exposure.
