We are looking for a passionate AI professional to promote and enable AI adoption across the Prudential Group.
The AI Enablement Lead will be responsible for ensuring AI projects align with business and commercial priorities. This involves the development of end-to-end guidelines and processes for the selection, development and monitoring of business outcomes of AI solutions.
The role also supports AI adoption initiatives that promote AI usage across the business. This includes supporting training and change management initiatives leading to greater use of AI across the company.
Key Responsibilities
AI Benefits Tracking
- Responsible for the execution of the AI Monetisation Process
- Mature and evolve the AI Monetisation Process
- Support local teams to adopt existing and new AI monetisation process
- Develop and mature the AI Business Intake Process
- Track and report on the number of AI systems in production and development
Strategic Alignment
- Embed strategic intake processes that assess AI initiatives for commercial, ethical, legal, and operational fit before approval.
- Establish governance checkpoints to validate alignment with enterprise priorities, risk appetite, and regulatory obligations.
Lifecycle Monitoring and Oversight
- Enhance the SDLC to support more streamlined AI deployment
- Implement pre-deployment risk assessments and post-deployment performance monitoring to ensure ongoing accountability.
- Operationalize incident management protocols for high-risk AI use cases, including escalation and remediation workflows.
- Ensure traceability and auditability across the AI lifecycle through standardized documentation and validation logs.
Change Management, Training and Awareness
- Accountable for the AI adoption KPI
- Manage the execution and evolution of the AI for All training program to mature and expand AI adoption for all staff
- Create and support company-wide communication of key developments in AI
- Embed ethical considerations into development workflows through toolkits, guidelines, and peer review processes.
- Foster stakeholder trust by encouraging transparency, inclusive design, and cross-functional collaboration in AI projects.
Stakeholder management
- Work with stakeholders across the organization, including data scientists, engineers, business leaders and LBUs to ensure sufficient input and buy-in for decisions on changes and development of guidelines and standards.
- Provide relevant training and guidance to stakeholders from various technical and non- technical domains
- Help develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors
Other Responsibilities
- Stay up to date with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in AI focused on AI adoption and monetisation
- Participate in industry forums and working groups that advance AI adoption.
- Stay abreast of Prudential's AI Objectives, and AI Strategy
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships. Experience in leading by influence.
- Strong knowledge of the current AI landscape and best practices using AI for personal productivity through to process redesign.
- At least 10 years experience in technology, data science or AI in financial services
- Experience developing training and/or change management programs.
- Experience leading and maturing data science, AI or software development teams.
- Project and program management skills and the ability to build high performing teams
