AI Demo Engineer

As an AI Demo Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business needs. You will be the technical partner to our sales team, building interactive prototypes and custom demos that show clients exactly how Tictag's AI can solve their real-world problems.

This is a trainee-centric role designed for individuals who are passionate about AI, coding, and solving puzzles. You will undergo a structured development program to build your expertise in AI engineering and technical consulting.

1. Technical Consulting & Solutioning

• Partner with the Sales team to understand client business needs and operating environments.
• Assess requirements to recommend the best Tictag AI technology (e.g., Object Detection, NLP, or Image Classification).
• Research and experiment with open-source models to evaluate their fit for specific client use cases.

2. Custom Demo Development

• Design and build interactive demos using technologies such as Python and Gradio to showcase AI feasibility.
• Fine-tune AI models and build data flows for processing and storing AI model outputs.
• Validate AI performance using industry-standard metrics and test for edge-case robustness.
• Deploy demos to cloud environments like AWS and GCP.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as the technical liaison between clients, sales, and the R&D team.
• Present AI demos to clients, gather feedback, and assist in refining project scopes.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  

Eligibility Criteria:

• Residency: Must be a Singapore Citizen.
• Commitment: Able to commit to completing the full 1-year training programme (for fresh graduates) and 6 month training programme (for mid-career professionals). .
• Hiring Standards: Able to meet the specific hiring requirements of Tictag.

Academic & Technical Foundation:

• Education:Diploma or ITE graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Technical Foundation: Basic knowledge of Python is required.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills and an interest in technical storytelling.
  

Trainees will undergo a comprehensive 1-year development path, including:

• Certified External Training: Enrollment in industry-recognized AI literacy and foundations courses.
• Tictag In-House Workshops: Specialized internal training on model training, requirements gathering, AI testing, and technical demonstration techniques.
• On-the-Job Mentorship: Hands-on experience building AI solutions for real-world projects in the retail, transportation, and luxury sectors across Southeast Asia.
  

• Suitability: While an applicant may meet the eligibility criteria, all applicants are subjected to the company's review for suitability with its hiring requirements and may not be automatically shortlisted for interview.
