AI Cloud Engineer – Fintech Firm – Up to SGD16k per month + Bonus
You'll build an AI-native assurance system for a sovereign cloud and infrastructure environment used by a cross-border payments business with operations in Hong Kong and Singapore. The goal: make infrastructure continuously validated across security, resilience, governance, and regulatory alignment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop AI agents that automate cloud governance and infrastructure assurance.
- Implement continuous monitoring with anomaly detection for availability, health, resilience, and operational readiness.
- Create agents that validate architectures against sovereign design principles and regulatory requirements across multiple regions.
- Build secure-by-design checks using automation patterns like policy-as-code and infrastructure-as-code security validation.
- Drive automated remediation loops to keep platforms compliant and resilient.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering, Security Engineering, SRE, and Architecture to integrate AI assurance into day-to-day operations.
- Help evolve internal tooling/platforms.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in areas such as cloud engineering, platform engineering, AI/LLM engineering for operations, SRE, DevOps, or infrastructure automation.
- Mandarin and English fluency required
- Python or Go
- Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD automation
- Observability: Prometheus/Grafana/OpenTelemetry or equivalent
- Cloud exposure: AWS/Azure/GCP/Alibaba Cloud
- Security posture experience: Zero Trust/Secure-by-Design/compliance automation
- Experience building AI agents/LLM applications/autonomous workflows for cloud/platform/ops use cases.
- Familiarity with multi-agent orchestration and agent frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or comparable tooling.
- Practical knowledge of observability + reliability engineering e.g. SRE metrics, incident automation, DR.
- Hands-on cloud/security automation: identity & access controls, network segmentation, configuration compliance, and IaC security validation. Policy-as-code is a plus.
- Ability to reason about multi-region / sovereign architecture constraints e.g. regional isolation, data residency, cross-border control enforcement.
- Experience supporting financial-grade or mission-critical distributed systems e.g. capacity planning, bottleneck analysis, performance assurance.
