The Role
We are looking for people who enjoy building autonomous AI systems.
You will help design and build AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and executing tasks across complex environments, including:
- Web-based task execution agents
- AI assistants capable of tool use and workflow automation
- AI systems that interact with software environments or computers
Examples of systems in this category include:
- Manus
- Perplexity Compute
- Claude Computer Use / Claude Co-worker
- OpenAI Operator
- Qoderwork (Alibaba)
You will work across the full stack of agent systems from agent architecture and task planning to product integration and real-world deployment.
What You'll Work On
- Design and build AI agent architectures
- Develop agents capable of multi-step reasoning and task execution
- Implement tool use / function calling frameworks
- Build agents that operate across web, software, or system environments
- Design workflows for multi-tool orchestration
- Turn agent capabilities into real product features
Who You Are
You might come from one of two backgrounds.
Agent / AI Systems Engineering
- Experience building AI agents or LLM-powered applications
- Familiar with tool use, function calling, and multi-step reasoning
- Experience designing agent workflows or orchestration systems
Typical tools and ecosystems include:
- LangChain
- LlamaIndex
- OpenAI / Claude APIs
- RAG pipelines
- Workflow orchestration systems
AI Product / Agent Product Design
- Experience designing AI-powered products or assistants
- Worked on AI copilots, automation systems, or intelligent workflows
- Strong understanding of AI product design and user experience
Requirements
- Strong background in Computer Science, AI, or related fields
- Deep interest in AI agents, LLM applications, and intelligent systems
- Experience building AI-powered applications or products
- Familiarity with tool calling, agent workflows, or LLM-based systems
- Strong engineering or product thinking
- Fluency in both Mandarin and English is required, as this role involves collaboration with engineering teams in China.
Nice to Have
- Experience building Web Agents or Computer Agents
- Experience with automation or workflow orchestration systems
- Experience building AI products from 0 1
- Experience with RAG or knowledge systems
