About Position:
We are looking for an experienced Agentic AI - AWS Architect to lead the design and governance of AI-first enterprise solutions across the complete SDLC lifecycle. The role involves architecting scalable, secure, and reusable AI agent frameworks, multi-agent systems, RAG-based applications, and cloud-native solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spark, and Scala, along with hands-on experience in AI agents, LLM-based applications, AWS cloud architecture, and enterprise-scale solution design.
- Role: Agentic AI - AWS Architect
- Location: Bengaluru, Pune, Noida
- Experience: 10 to 16 Years
- Job Type: Full-Time Employment
What You'll Do:
- Define and maintain AI-first reference architectures covering agentic workflows, RAG patterns, tool/function calling, prompt orchestration, knowledge retrieval, evaluation and monitoring.
- Design and govern multi-agent solutions integrating enterprise systems, structured/unstructured data, APIs, workflows and AI services.
- Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS using appropriate services for compute, eventing, storage, search, observability, security and integration.
- Provide architectural guidance and reviews across SDLC phases — solutioning, design, implementation, code review, deployment and production governance.
- Own backend architecture patterns using Node.js, including API design, asynchronous processing, error handling, retries, security, scalability and maintainability.
- Define agent guardrails including authentication, authorisation, safety checks, data boundaries, human-in-the-loop controls, auditability and failure handling.
- Guide event-driven and serverless design across Lambda, queues, streams, event buses, API gateways and downstream integrations.
- Review agent-generated or AI-assisted code for architectural consistency, quality, security, performance and adherence to approved patterns.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build reusable templates, agent patterns, workflow blueprints and implementation standards for faster delivery.
- Define evaluation and quality approaches for agent outputs, including test datasets, regression checks, hallucination risk controls, response validation and observability.
- Document architecture decisions, assumptions, constraints, trade-offs and operational considerations for team consumption and leadership review.
- Mentor engineers and architects on AI-first design principles, AWS-native patterns, Node.js backend practices and responsible AI engineering.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 10 to 15 years of software engineering, application architecture, cloud architecture or enterprise solution design experience.
- Hands-on experience creating AI agents, agentic workflows, tool/function-calling flows, AI assistants or automation agents in enterprise contexts.
- Strong understanding of LLM application architecture including prompt design, RAG, embeddings, vector search, context management, evaluation and response grounding.
- Strong AWS exposure with practical architecture experience across serverless, event-driven and cloud-native services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, Kinesis, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch and IAM.
- Strong working experience with Node.js for backend services, APIs, integration layers and cloud-native application development.
- Ability to design scalable, secure and reusable AI-first architectures that integrate enterprise applications, data sources and external services.
- Experience with event-driven architecture, asynchronous communication, retries, idempotency, dead-letter handling, observability and production resilience.
- Good understanding of data patterns across relational, document, key-value, search and vector stores; ability to reason about access patterns and performance trade-offs.
- Architecture governance experience across design reviews, code reviews, production-readiness checks, security reviews and technical risk management.
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain AI architecture trade-offs to business stakeholders, product teams and engineering leadership.
