We are looking for a caring and responsible Afterschool Care Teacher to supervise and engage children during afterschool hours. You will create a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can complete homework, participate in enrichment activities, and develop social skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise children during afterschool hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Assist with homework and provide academic guidance appropriate to each child's level
- Plan and conduct engaging activities (arts & crafts, games, storytelling, outdoor play)
- Prepare and serve snacks, ensuring proper hygiene and dietary considerations
- Communicate with parents during pick-up, providing updates on the child's day
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming environment
- Manage children's behaviour positively and enforce centre rules
- Work with the team to support each child's development needs
- Handle basic administrative duties such as attendance and incident reporting
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE O Level or equivalent
- Experience working with children (preferably ages 4-12)
- Patient, energetic, and genuinely enjoys working with kids
- Good communication skills
- Able to commit to the full 1 PM - 7 PM schedule, Monday to Friday
