Afterschool Care Specialist #HHLT

Pay: Up to $4,000/month (1 month completion bonus)
Location: Marine Parade

Duration: 1 year contract (can extend or convert to perm
Work hours: Monday - Friday, 11:30am-8pm

Job Scope:

. Plan and participate activities that stimulate creativity, build skills and enhance student learning.

. Support in the care and guidance of students in an after-school environment and foster an inclusive environment.

. Collaborate with colleagues to refine life skills programme curriculum and teaching strategies.

. Conduct lessons and enrichment sessions where needed to support students learning.

. Guide primary school children to complete daily homework and academic tasks.

. Mark language assessment worksheets and monitor progress.

. Ensure the safety and timely transfer of students from school to the student centre.

. Oversee children's safety and well-being both within and outside the centre premises and liaise regularly with parents and guardians.

. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and support centre documentation and observation logs.

. Manage the upkeep of teaching resources and centre premises.

. Assist with any other duties as delegated by the Centre Manager.

Requirements:

. Minimum Degree/Diploma in Education or a related discipline.

. Prior experience working with children.

. Passion for teaching and nurturing children.

. Strong classroom management and communication skills.

. Excellent work ethics, integrity, and a positive attitude.

. IT-savvy and creative

. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
