We are looking for a hands-on After Sales Support Engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, working with customers, and supporting industrial machinery in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Commissioning
- Install and commission industrial equipment at customer sites
- Perform equipment testing and ensure proper machine operation before handover
- Conduct machine calibration and functional checks
Technical Support
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues
- Provide onsite and remote technical support to customers
- Resolve equipment faults efficiently to minimise customer downtime
Preventive Maintenance
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and servicing
- Replace worn components and perform machine adjustments
- Prepare maintenance reports and service documentation
Customer Training
- Train customers on machine operation, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Advise customers on machine parameters and best operating practices
- Support customers with application and production-related enquiries
Continuous Improvement
- Escalate recurring technical issues to internal engineering teams
- Recommend improvements to enhance equipment performance and customer satisfaction
- Support exhibitions, product demonstrations, and technical events when required
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience in equipment servicing, maintenance, installation, or after-sales technical support
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Comfortable performing hands-on work at customer sites
- Good communication skills and customer service orientation
- Willing to travel within Singapore for onsite support
