After sales Business Development Manager

Office location: International Business Park (IBP) , Singapore
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Reports To: Director of Service, Asia Pacific

Our APAC headquarters in Singapore serves as the regional hub for sales, service, and business development across diverse and fast-growing markets.

We are now seeking a driven and commercially minded After Sales Business Development Manager to join their Service team and play a pivotal role in scaling our aftersales business across the region.

About the Role

The After Sales Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and driving aftersales revenue streams across the Asia Pacific region. This role focuses on enhancing service profitability, implementing scalable service business models, and supporting the regional leadership team in achieving strategic revenue and customer satisfaction goals in alignment with global service standards.

This is a high-impact, commercially focused role where you will directly influence how we monetize our installed equipment base, strengthen partner performance, and deliver value-added services to our customers across multiple APAC markets.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Development (50%)

  • Develop and implement aftersales revenue models including service contracts, spare parts programs, extended warranty offerings, and other value-added services
  • Drive internal and external partners to proactively service and grow revenue from the installed equipment base across the region
  • Identify and pursue new aftersales revenue opportunities in collaboration with Sales and Product Management teams
  • Design and launch service packages to support new product introductions and existing fleet monetization

Financial Management & Performance Tracking (15%)

  • Prepare and monitor aftersales budgets across the APAC region
  • Analyze and proactively drive partner performance against revenue and profitability targets
  • Manage receivables and monitor margin and EBT performance
  • Establish and maintain KPIs and reporting dashboards to track revenue, service profitability, and customer satisfaction across all markets

Regional Coordination (10%)

  • Support both internal teams and external distribution partners in achieving aftersales revenue targets
  • Ensure process alignment with corporate service standards across all APAC markets
  • Drive cross-country and cross-regional sharing of best practices to elevate service delivery and commercial outcomes

Process Improvement (10%)

  • Collaborate on SAP and service system integration projects to enhance operational efficiency
  • Streamline service workflows and improve data accuracy for better decision-making
  • Identify opportunities for automation and digitization of aftersales processes

Cross-Functional Collaboration (10%)

  • Work closely with Sales, Product Management, and Finance teams to identify and develop new revenue opportunities
  • Support product launches with tailored service packages and aftersales strategies
  • Provide market intelligence and customer insights to inform product and service roadmap decisions

Compliance & Reporting (5%)

  • Ensure adherence to group policies, local regulations, and audit requirements across all APAC operations
  • Maintain accurate and timely reporting to regional and global leadership

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in aftersales, aftermarket, or business development within the crane, construction machinery, heavy equipment, or capital equipment industry
  • Proven track record in developing and executing revenue growth strategies in aftersales or aftermarket environments
  • Strong financial acumen with hands-on experience in P&L management, budgeting, and margin analysis
  • Experience working in multinational environments with cross-border coordination across Asia Pacific markets
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred
