Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer (EAST)

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and technically driven Manufacturing Engineer to support production operations by developing, improving, and optimizing manufacturing processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to introduce new products, enhance production efficiency, resolve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes, procedures, and documentation.
• Create and maintain Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS), NC programs, and tooling/gauge plans using Siemens NX.
• Provide technical support and guidance to Manufacturing Technicians during new product introduction (NPI) and existing production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues raised by production teams, customers, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct manufacturing feasibility studies to improve production capacity, workflow, and factory layout.
• Identify, plan, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Recommend and support the selection, design, and implementation of manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Prepare Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) justifications for new equipment and process improvements.
• Analyse manufacturing data and recommend solutions to improve yield, quality, and production performance.
• Participate in company-wide Lean Manufacturing, productivity, and quality improvement projects.
• Work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.

Other Information

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing, precision engineering, aerospace, or industrial environment.
• Proficient in Siemens NX for NC programming and manufacturing documentation.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures, and production planning.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
