Aero Engine Component Maintenance Technician (Hand Fitter)

Job Responsibilities:

. Ability to complete the repair scheme in accordance with the requirements & instructions of Rolls-Royce Engine Manuals (e.g. SPM - Standard Practices Manual, SB - Service Bulletin) & TV (Technical Variance)

. Operation of special tools for the replacement of shank nuts on aero engine components

. Operation of specific tooling for installation, inspection & torque check during the replacement of wirethread inserts on aero engine components

. Operation of precision jig and fixtures for the replacement of engine spares (studs, pins, pads, washers, liners, bushings etc.) on aero engine components

. Operation of pneumatic tools (die grinders & air drills etc.) for repair and precision inspection instrument for quality control in minor damage repair on aero engine components

. Understand and strict adherence to Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)

. Health & Safety practices (E.g. Personnel Protection Equipment, Chemical storage, Hand Tools storage)

Requirements:

. Minimum 3 years in aero engine components/parts hand fitter/mechanic experience

. Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Aviation Engineering or related disciplines

. Able to interpret engineering drawings

. Good command of written English and engineering analytical skill

. Willing to take day and night roster shifts
