Job Description

The Assistant Associate will provide foundational support to PwC's Financial Services Assurance teams, helping clients strengthen trust and transparency in financial reporting. This role offers exposure to a wide range of assurance assignments, including internal control reviews, risk management assessments, and procedural and regulatory compliance analyses. Structured learning, mentorship, and dedicated guidance are provided to support career development and a smooth transition into the workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support audit and assurance teams in delivering high-quality client services
  • Assist in internal control reviews, risk management assessments, and procedural audits
  • Contribute to regulatory compliance and process reviews for clients in banking, asset management, capital markets, and insurance sectors
  • Collaborate with team members to prepare working papers, documentation, and reports
  • Apply PwC's methodologies and best practices under supervision
  • Actively participate in learning and development initiatives to build technical and professional skills

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma in Accountancy from a local polytechnic preferred
  • Active participation in co-curricular activities demonstrating teamwork and initiative
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to teamwork, professional excellence, and continuous learning
